| The establishment of PT ACI marks another significant milestone for Guan Chong Berhad to continue strengthening its foothold in the cocoa industry. The new plant represents Guan Chong’s second cocoa grinding facility, with an annual capacity of 120,000 MT. It is strategically located at the Free Trade Area of Batam, Indonesia and was officially commissioned in July 2011. |

PT ACI is well equipped with state-of-the-art machineries from the Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany. The production line is set up in compliance with internal quality control and food safety standards. The plant manufactures, markets and distributes cocoa cake, cocoa butter and cocoa powder under our widely recognised trademark of “FAVORICH”.
Logistically, the plant is well situated with direct access to local Indonesian cocoa beans at zero tariff rate. This helps us to realise cost advantages and in turn allows us to supply cocoa products at competitive prices without compromising on product quality. |
