Tay How Sik @ Tay How Sick was appointed as the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of GCB on 8 January 2005.

As a Director of JB Cocoa Group Sdn Bhd from 1987 to 2003, he was instrumental in establishing the cocoa beans processing plant and overseeing the set-up of the production line and machinery installation. He took on the role of Director and Factory Manager of GCCM in 1989 and has since remained in charge of the factory operations. Over the years, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the production of cocoa-derived food ingredients as well as in the maintenance and modification of machineries to enhance production efficiency and improve product quality.
